The project is targeted to students aged 12-15, teachers and parents. The project addresses an important problem of lack of knowledge about female representatives in Science, IT, Arts, Politics and Sports, which leads to low self-esteem of girls and women who cannot see their counterparts in important areas of culture and science and consequently do not try to achieve in these realms.
In the search of female role-models students and teachers will analyse Internet resources, books and press articles to construct portraits and bios of presented female figures, thus training understanding instructions, reading comprehension and filtering information.
In this way students will upgrade their exam and learning skills, improve IT, English and native language and fight low motivation to study these subjects and upgrade their practical competences in critical thinking, digital skills and media literacy.
The core activities of the project are connected with organization five editions of LTTAs in each of partner country. These carefully prepared, five-day meetings will each time have a different headline and participants will present materials on role-model women from their countries and other countries as well.
